A health services organization in North Carolina is looking to add a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join their growing team in Johnston County, providing critical medical support and fostering a safe work environment.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday
- Hours: 7pm to 5:30am (approx 40 hours per week with possible overtime)
- Setting: Workplace Health & Safety environment
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and referring to outside medical providers as necessary
- Minimizing employee risk of injury through education and proactive engagement
- Maintaining records of care and coordinating workers’ compensation programs
- Managing daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
- Engaging with employees on the operations floor for safety coaching
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Current valid EMT or Paramedic Certification, or related Military Medical experience
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk analysis
- Proficiency in first aid and emergency response
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work within a team and independently
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED training
- Strong understanding of Workplace Ergonomics
- Experience in Industrial Wellness programs
- Ability to manage Musculoskeletal Disorders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
