A health services organization in California is seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join their team in Rialto, proactively managing employee health and safety through first aid and health advocacy.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Night
- Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday
- Hours: 6pm to 4:30am
- Setting: Workplace Health & Safety
Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid support and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary
- Minimize the employee’s risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement
- Maintain all records of care provided to employees
- Coordinate and maintain the workers’ compensation and return to work programs
- Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Current valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Certification or equivalent
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient in Digital Record Keeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with OSHA regulations
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented demeanor
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED training
- Experience managing Musculoskeletal Disorders and Ergonomics
- Experience with an Industrial Wellness program
- Demonstrated work experience with Workers Compensation
