A Pennsylvania-based healthcare organization is seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join its Workplace Health & Safety team in Hazleton, supporting on-site health and safety initiatives.

About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 4+ months
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 5 days a week
- Hours: 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and making referrals to outside medical providers as necessary
- Minimizing the employee’s risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement
- Maintaining all records of care provided to employees
- Coordinating and maintaining the workers’ compensation and return to work programs for employees with work-related injuries
- Providing daily activity logs and end of shift reports
- Performing other duties, as neded
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current valid EMT or Paramedic Certification, recent military medical experience, or Athletic Trainer Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient in First Aid and Medical Care
- Experience with Health & Safety procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED
- Experience with an Industrial Wellness program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
