A healthcare organization in California is seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join their team in Desert Hot Springs, providing medical support and training to employees.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Evening
- Schedule: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
- Hours: 7pm to 3:30am
- Setting: Health & Safety team
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and referring to medical providers
- Engaging employees in safety awareness and education
- Maintaining records of care provided
- Managing workers’ compensation and return to work programs
- Providing daily activity logs and shift reports
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid EMT or Paramedic Certification
- Strong skills in Emergency Response
- Experience with Health & Safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:
- Certified Athletic Trainer or similar qualification
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
