A recognized healthcare organization in North Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to ensure the health and safety of the workforce on-site.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Two available, with holiday work expected
- Schedule:
- Schedule 1: Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM (Overtime: Wed)
- Schedule 2: Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM (Overtime: Wed)
- Hours: Vary by schedule
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and making referrals to medical providers
- Minimizing employee injury risks through awareness and education
- Maintaining records of care provided to employees
- Coordinating workers' compensation and return to work programs
- Providing daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Current valid EMT or Paramedic Certification, or relevant military/athletic trainer experience
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Proficient in digital record keeping
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Proven organizational skills and detail-oriented
Desired Skills:
- Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED
- Experience with Industrial Wellness programs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
