A services organization in Pennsylvania is actively seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician for the Workplace Health & Safety department to ensure employee safety, provide first aid, and support wellness initiatives.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Night
- Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday
- Hours: 6pm to 4:30am
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and making referrals to medical providers
- Minimizing injury risks through education and engagement
- Maintaining records of care
- Coordinating workers’ compensation programs
- Providing daily activity logs and reports
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- EMT or Paramedic Certification, military medical experience, or Athletic Trainer Certification
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and Workers Compensation
- Digital record-keeping proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
- Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED
- Experience with Industrial Wellness programs
- Experience with Ergonomics and Body Mechanics coaching
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
