A recognized health services organization in Missouri is actively seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join their growing team in St. Peters.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Thursdays to Sundays
- Hours: 6pm to 4:30am (10 hours of OT)
- Setting: Workplace Health & Safety
Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid support and referrals to medical providers
- Minimize injury risks through education and engagement
- Maintain records of employee care
- Manage workers' compensation and return to work programs
- Provide daily reports and logs
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- EMT or Paramedic Certification, recent military medic experience, or Athletic Trainer Certification
- Proficiency in first aid and CPR
- Flexibility with shifts, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Team collaboration skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience with workplace safety programs
- Certified in teaching CPR and first aid
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with industrial wellness programs
- Understanding of OSHA regulations
