A health services network in California is seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join its Workplace Health & Safety team, providing emergency medical support and promoting health and wellness.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Sun to Wed or Wed to Sat or Mon-Tues-Thurs-Fri
- Hours: 12:30pm to 11pm
- Setting: Workplace Health & Safety
Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid support and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary
- Minimize the employee’s risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement
- Maintain all records of care provided to employees
- Coordinate and maintain workers’ compensation and return to work programs
- Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Proficiency in digital record-keeping
Desired Skills:
- Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Industrial Wellness programs
- Experience managing Musculoskeletal Disorders
- Experience with Workers' Compensation
- Microsoft Office proficient
