The Health & Safety team of a New Jersey-based healthcare organization is seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday
- Hours: 6am to 4:30pm
- Setting: Health and Safety
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and making referrals to outside medical providers as necessary
- Minimizing risk of injury through education and proactive engagement
- Maintaining all care records for employees
- Coordinating workers’ compensation and return to work programs
- Providing daily activity logs and end of shift reports
Qualifications:
- 1 year of related work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- EMT or Paramedic certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desired Skills:
- Experience managing Musculoskeletal Disorders
- Proficient in Digital Record-keeping
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
- Experience with Industrial Wellness programs
