A leading company in St. Peters, MO, is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Technician. This role focuses on maintaining workplace health and safety, emphasizing proactive engagement and strategic direction for health and well-being.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Thurs-Sun, 6pm-4:30am with OT estimate of 10 hours weekly. Training: M-F, 6pm-2:30am
- Schedule: Fixed
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers
- Minimizing employee risk through awareness and proactive engagement
- Maintaining records of care provided to employees
- Coordinating workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs
- Providing daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid EMT or Paramedic certification, or equivalent military medic experience
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- 2+ years of experience
- Athletic Trainer Certification
- Certified to teach first aid/CPR/AED
- Experience with ergonomics and body mechanics coaching
- Proficient in digital record-keeping
