A recognized services organization in Oregon is currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Technician to join their team in Woodburn and provide first aid support and guidance for occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses, supporting the safety and well-being of employees.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday
- Hours: 12pm to 11:30pm (PST; 40 hours per week)
- Setting: Workplace Health & Safety Department
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and referrals to medical providers
- Minimizing injury risks through awareness and education
- Maintaining care records
- Coordinating workers’ compensation and return to work programs
- Providing daily activity logs and reports
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or NREMT, or recent military medical experience, or Athletic Trainer Certification
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Offic
- Strong communication skills
- Detailed-oriented
- Ability to work independently
Desired Skills:
- 2+ years of experience
- Certification to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED training
- Experience with Industrial Wellness programs
- Proficiency in Digital Recordkeeping
