A health services organization in Nevada is actively seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join their Workplace Health & Safety team in Las Vegas.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Days or Nights
- Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday
- Hours: 6:30am to 5pm or 5pm to 6:30am
- Setting: Workplace Health & Safety team
Responsibilities:
- Providing first aid support and making referrals to outside medical providers as necessary
- Minimizing employee injury risk through awareness and education
- Maintaining records of care provided to employees
- Coordinating workers’ compensation and return to work programs
- Providing daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of related work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Current valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic certification
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with OSHA regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, and AED
- Experience with an Industrial Wellness program
- Proficient in digital record keeping
