A healthcare network is seeking a new Emergency Medicine Technician to join their team located in Tucson, AZ, offering an opportunity to contribute significantly within the Workplace Health & Safety team.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Various
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday
- Hours: 12pm to 10:30pm (with potential overtime)
- Setting: Workplace Health & Safety
Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers.
- Minimize risk of injury through education and proactive engagement.
- Maintain records of care provided to employees.
- Coordinate and maintain workers’ compensation programs.
- Engage with employees and leadership to provide coaching on safety habits.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Relevant EMT or Paramedic Certification, Military medical experience, or Athletic Trainer Certification
- Proficient in providing first aid and healthcare guidance
- Maintain healthcare records and comply with safety standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive and able to engage with diverse teams
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed
- Keen attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with an industrial wellness program
- Proficient in digital record keeping
- Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation
