A nationally recognized healthcare network is actively seeking a new Emergency Medicine Physician to join its growing team in Sioux City, Iowa.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: 24-hour physician coverage
- Schedule: Flexible
- Setting: Level II Trauma Center
Responsibilities:
- Providing comprehensive emergency care to patients
- Collaborating with a team of NP/PAs and HM program
- Maintaining accurate patient records using Cerner EMR
- Ensuring compliance with medical protocols and guidelines
- Participating in continuous professional development and training
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM (or osteopathic equivalents)
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Active State Medical License
- DEA registration
- Certification in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
- Residency trained in Emergency Medicine or a relevant specialty
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset
Desired Skills:
- Advanced degree or fellowship training
- Experience in a high-volume ED setting
- Additional certifications in related fields
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
