A health services network in Texas is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing Freestanding Emergency Department in Harlingen to help manage a range of emergency cases.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts for MD coverage (Flexible with structured overlap during high volume)
- Hours: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am ( 24/7 coverage with shifts)
- Setting: Freestanding Emergency Department
Responsibilities:
- Managing full-spectrum emergency cases (adult & pediatric)
- Stabilizing and transferring higher-acuity cases when needed
- Leading resuscitations
- Coordinating transfers and specialty consults
- Maintaining documentation and quality standards
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Texas
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM/ABOEM
- Active ATLS and PALS certification
- Active DEA registration
- Proficient in handling Trauma and Critical Care cases
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Effective communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience in freestanding ED settings
- Proficiency in Emergency Medicine procedures
