A health services network in Texas is actively seeking a licensed Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team in Brownsville, providing locum tenens coverage at a high-performing Emergency Department.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: 12 hours
- Schedule: MD coverage 24 hours/day
- Hours: 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am
- Setting: Level III Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-spectrum emergency cases (adult & pediatric)
- Lead trauma resuscitations
- Stabilize stroke and critical care patients
- Supervise and collaborate with APPs
- Coordinate with the Consulting Specialists
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas
- Active DEA registrations
- ATLS and PALS certifications
- Experience in managing emergency cases
- Excellent communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Board Certification in ABEM/ABOEM
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Comfortable in moderate-to-high volume Trauma-designated ED
