A health services network in Texas is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing Emergency Department in Brownsville to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 24-hour MD coverage
- Hours: 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am (12-hour shifts)
- Setting: Freestanding Emergency Department
Responsibilities:
- Managing full-spectrum emergency cases (adult & pediatric)
- Leading trauma resuscitations
- Stabilizing stroke and critical care patients
- Supervising and collaborating with APPs
- Coordinating with Consulting Specialists
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Texas
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM/ABOEM
- Active ATLS and PALS certification
- Active DEA registration
- Proficient in handling Trauma and Critical Care cases
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Effective communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience in moderate-to-high volume Emergency Department settings
- Proficiency in Emergency Medicine procedures
