A health services network in Missouri is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their Emergency Medicine team at one of their inpatient facilities in St. Louis.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 21-34 shifts per month
- Hours: 8 or 10-hour shifts
- Setting: Inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and stabilizing patients of all ages with diverse, urgent conditions
- Performing emergency procedures such as airway management, central line placement, and trauma resuscitation
- Ordering and interpreting lab tests and imaging studies like CTs, X-rays, and ultrasounds
- Directing and collaborating with emergency room staff and specialists for patient care
- Deciding on patient admissions, transfers, or discharges while coordinating follow-up care
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Missouri
- Board Eligible / Certified in Emergency Medicine
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications
- Proficient with EPIC EMR
- Skills in Laceration Repair, I&D, Intubation, Central Lines, and/or Chest Tubes
Desired Skills:
- Advanced Medical Degree
- Advanced skills in Trauma Care
- Previous leadership experience in an emergency setting
