A health services network in the Hudson Valley is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a great Night shift opportunity at one of their Level IV Emergency Departments in Ulster County.
About the Opportunity:
- Assignment Length: 13-week contract
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: Varies
- Hours: 3pm to 3am (34.5 per week)
- Setting: Emergency Department
Responsibilities:
- Patient assessment and individualized care planning
- Coordinating care and discharge planning
- Providing ongoing patient and support system education
- Effective communication with healthcare teams
- Administering medication and assessing patient response
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current New York State RN license (or permittee)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Desired Skills:
- 2+ years of Critical Care and/or Emergency Room experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- TNCC, ENPC, and CEN certifications
- Proficiency in Patient Advocacy and Rights Protection
