An Electrical Maintenance Technician is needed in Vienna, VA to support a critical campus environment, including data center infrastructure. The role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:
- Assisting team leads with the installation, maintenance, and repair of emergency power systems, electrical systems, UPS systems, and a wide range of electrical equipment, fixtures, tools, and appliances
- Supporting work on single- and three-phase electrical systems, including 120, 208, 277, 480, and 12,470-volt gear, as well as signal, control, and low-voltage systems
- Assisting in diagnosing system issues, malfunctions, and required design alterations
- Reading and interpreting work schedules, blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and manufacturer manuals to complete work safely and efficiently
- Supporting preventative maintenance activities and emergency response efforts
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial electrical maintenance and repair
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience working with commercial electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work schedules
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting data center environments
- Familiarity with UPS systems and emergency power infrastructure
- Willingness to complete technical training on critical electrical and mechanical systems
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong problem-solving skills
