A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Maternal-Child Health Department as the new Director of Nursing.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some off-shift and weekend requirements
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
- Setting: Acute Care
Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic leadership and oversight of nursing excellence initiatives
- Leading organizational readiness efforts for Magnet designation
- Integrating shared governance and evidence-based practice programs
- Standardizing nursing excellence processes across departments
- Collaborating to embed evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of related Nursing experience with at least 5 years in a Supervisory role
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Active NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- Experience with Acute Care Nursing leadership
- Effective communication skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Team collaboration
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing

- Proficiency in Epic EMRs
