A healthcare facility in South Carolina is currently seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to join their team on a Locum tenens basis. This role offers the chance to support multiple sites with flexible scheduling and no call requirements.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: January 20, 2026 (ongoing until permanent providers are hired)
- Schedule: Flexible schedule
- Hours: Daily overtime after 8 hours
- Setting: Hospital-based with cross-credentialing at additional nearby facilities
Responsibilities:
- Interpreting a variety of diagnostic imaging studies
- Supporting reads across multiple locations within the health system
- Delivering accurate and timely reports
- Collaborating with physicians and clinical teams to ensure patient care continuity
- Maintaining compliance with hospital protocols and credentialing standards
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree required
- Fellowship training
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
- Active South Carolina license preferred (candidates without SC license considered with FCVS)
- Strong diagnostic radiology skills across modalities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience in hospital-based radiology
- Familiarity with multi-site credentialing processes
- Ability to adapt to varying case volumes and site needs
