A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Desktop Support Technician to join their team in the McLean, VA area.

Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical support for end users across hardware, software, and system-related issues
- Diagnose and resolve Windows operating system and Microsoft 365 application issues
- Troubleshoot connectivity and basic networking problems (IP, DNS, VPN)
- Support Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN client issues on Windows endpoints
- Assist users with MFA, security prompts, and basic cybersecurity-related concerns
- Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests using ServiceNow
- Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and support guidelines
- Deliver professional, timely, and customer-focused service
- Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional support groups
Qualifications:
- Experience using a ticketing system
- Experience troubleshooting Palo Alto GlobalProtect client issues
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 11
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
- Basic knowledge of Networking (IP addressing, DNS)
- Basic knowledge of Cybersecurity (MFA, phishing awareness)
- Professional presence and maturity
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications:
- CompTIA A+ certification
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals certification
- Working knowledge of
- Experience using ConnectWise Remote Support
- Experience using CyberArk Workforce Password Management
- Experience troubleshooting Citrix VDI environments
