A recognized services company is currently seeking a new Desktop & Production Support Specialist to provide technical assistance in a fast-paced live production environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 desktop support, with a strong focus on Mac systems (approx. 90% Mac / 10% PC)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Support producers, writers, and operations staff during prep and live-production days
- Assist with live setup, rehearsals, and technical needs during high-pressure moments
- Provide support for mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc.) during production prep
- Collaborate with existing onsite support team
- Occasional assistance with media or camera equipment (Canon systems)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or Production Technology
- Strong MacOS troubleshooting skills (must be confident and self-sufficient)
- Ability to support both Mac and PC platforms
- Familiarity with Production environments, Networking basics, Software installs, and Media workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical support roles in Creative, Media, Broadcast, or Production environments
- Apple support or mixed Mac/PC desktop support environments
- TV/media/entertainment-related tech roles
