A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Data Science & Analytics Engineer to join their growing team in the McLean, Virginia area.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain queries and scripts to replicate CDH customer contextual data within external analytics environments such as Databricks
- Build and maintain data pipelines, queries, and notebooks to support analytical workflows
- Standardize data retrieval and analysis processes for use across the analytics team
- Create reusable Databricks notebooks to support common analytical use cases, including: Distribution Analysis; Arbitration Analysis; and, Channel Engagement Analysis
- Analyze customer interaction data and outcomes to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing actions and campaigns
- Support model performance monitoring and assist with establishing baseline KPIs
- Identify trends in propensity scores, engagement performance, and audience eligibility
- Collaborate with data science, analytics, and marketing teams to deliver insights and improve decision-making strategies
- Maintain documentation and support improvements to analytical frameworks and processes
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Science roles
- Experience working within a Databricks environment
- Strong proficiency in Python or PySpark
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience performing data analysis and building analytical workflows
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH)
- Experience supporting Marketing Analytics, Customer Engagement platforms, or Decisioning systems
- Exposure to Predictive Models or Model Performance Monitoring
- Experience working in Financial Services or other Regulated environments
