A global enterprise is seeking a Data Manager to ensure AACS-related data is properly governed, with the right access, controls, and ownership to support secure and compliant operations. This role focuses on managing access, enforcing governance policies, and maintaining accountability for Automated Access Control Systems data.

 About the Opportunity:
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 5pm (EST / CST)
  • Setting: 100% Remote 
Responsibilities:
  • Define and maintain data ownership, access models (RBAC), and approval workflows for AACS data
  • Coordinate access provisioning (e.g., Active Directory groups, badge/access permissions) and ensure requests are documented and auditable
  • Maintain data classification, handling guidance, and retention expectations in collaboration with security/privacy stakeholders
  • Track and remediate data risks such as over-permissioning, unclear ownership, orphaned credentials, and undocumented access paths
  • Analyze access control data to identify anomalies and patterns (e.g., repeated badge activity or unusual access behavior)
  • Build dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into access trends and system usage
  • Interpret large data sets to uncover insights and support decision-making around access controls
  • Publish and maintain governance documentation in Confluence
  • Deliver outcomes including reduced access friction, clearer accountability, and improved auditability
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in data management, data governance, or access control systems (mid-level)
  • Experience working with SQL-based systems or databases (any access control system leveraging SQL is acceptable)
  • Strong understanding of access control data and the full lifecycle/process behind it
  • Experience with access management, RBAC, and data governance frameworks
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets to identify patterns and anomalies
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain audit-ready records
  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset, problem-solving, effective communication
Desired Skills:
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting for Operational or Security Data
  • Familiarity with Confluence for documentation management
  • Familiarity with Automated Access Control Systems (e.g., LenelS2 OnGuard, CCURE, Genetec, or similar
  • Exposure to LenelS2 or similar platforms
  • Ability to collaborate with security/privacy teams to enforce controls and ensure compliance
