A leading technology organization is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer in Carrollton, Texas to support the design, integration, validation, and deployment of secure command-and-control systems for critical infrastructure environments. This role combines systems engineering and cybersecurity expertise to deliver secure, well-documented solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
- Translate cybersecurity and system needs into traceable specifications and support requirements analysis within a V-Model framework.
- Design secure architectures for command-and-control environments, including network segmentation, access control, encryption, and secure communications.
- Build, configure, and deliver Windows-based server and workstation environments within an Active Directory domain.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, network diagrams, configuration specifications, and cybersecurity control mapping materials.
- Support integration, validation, vulnerability assessment, and site deployment activities while documenting issues, resolutions, and acceptance results.
Qualifications:
- Experience in systems engineering, cybersecurity engineering, network engineering, or systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows and Linux environments, and network infrastructure components.
- Experience with server and network deployment, configuration management, and security hardening.
- Experience performing vulnerability assessments, security scans, testing, or validation activities.
- Ability to support onsite deployment and travel up to 25%.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with CIS benchmarks, NEI 08-09 controls, and requirements traceability matrices.
- Familiarity with VMware vSphere/ESXi, Cisco IOS switches, firewalls, and storage systems.
- Exposure to Trellix, Nessus, SIEM tools, PowerShell, or monitoring platforms.
- Experience with COTS integration, system commissioning, or acceptance testing in critical infrastructure environments.
