A company in Cheyenne, Wyoming, is looking for a Critical Facilities Technician to support its high-availability data center operations. The role involves ensuring the efficient operation of all facility systems.

Responsibilities:
- Performing planned preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency response for electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems
- Acting as the primary technical point of contact for all facility operations within an assigned data center
- Supporting mission-critical infrastructure to maintain greater than 99.999% uptime
- Serving as an expert technical resource to program management, onsite engineering teams, and third-party vendors
- Conducting daily facility walk-throughs, documenting power availability, temperature, humidity, alarms, and system status
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in supporting electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment in data centers or critical facilities
- High school diploma or GED required
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and operating procedures
- Proficiency with CMMS platforms and standard administrative software
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe work practices, including lockout/tagout
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
Desired Skills:
- Journeyman Electrician or Journeyman HVAC license
- OEM factory training or manufacturer-specific equipment experience
- Hands-on experience with UPS, generators, MV/LV switchgear, and fire alarm systems
- Ability to navigate BMS and EPMS platforms
- Experience in infrared scanning and vibration analysis
