A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Contracts Manager to join their growing McLean, Virginia area.

Responsibilities:
- Support business objectives by negotiating, executing, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts for the acquisition of goods and services
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts
- Lead negotiations on contract modifications with stakeholder input
- Provide assistance to internal stakeholders on contractual matters, requirements, risk management, and mitigation strategies
- Ensure the level of effort and attention to detail is commensurate with the complexity, value, and risk associated with the acquisition
- Establishes an acquisition strategy to include the type of contract and milestones, contractible requirements
- Analyze proposals. Performs cost or price analysis, including review of cost breakdowns to determine reasonableness
- Develop negotiation objectives and lead negotiations related to contract pricing, terms and conditions with potential contractors
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating Commercial Contracts
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Business, Contract Management, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience in Contract law/terms/ conditions
- Experience in acquisition planning, strategy development, negotiations, contract management and administration, pricing analysis, and acquisition-related requirements
- Significant knowledge of commercial and business practices to develop, execute and manage contracts
- Significant knowledge in evaluating and mitigating risk in contracts
- Significant experience in written Bid/Proposal preparation
- Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills
- Advanced knowledge of Cost Containment strategies
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
