A top health insurance provider is seeking a motivated Cognos/TMI Developer to work remotely in Chattanooga, TN. This contract-to-hire role involves designing and developing information systems.

Responsibilities:
- Formulating and defining system scope and objectives
- Modifying application systems to optimize performance
- Designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs
- Providing technical leadership and guidance
- Working with Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical specs
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in system analysis and programming
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Tools – IBM Cognos, MS SQL Server, Google Big Query, Azure DevOps
- Experience with Cognos and TM1
- Knowledge of Information Technology concepts and methodologies
- Ability to lead, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments
- Interpret and translate complex concepts for team members
- Proven analysis, design, and coding skills
- Success in leading medium to complex technology-based projects
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in the Health Insurance industry
- Experience with SAS, SQL, and/or SSRS
- Strong technical and analytical skills
