A community services organization in New York City is seeking a new Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and/or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to join their team as a Clinical Assessment Specialist.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm or 8:30am to 5:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Orienting clients to the WeCARE Program
- Collecting and managing documentation for Clinical Assessments
- Conducting participant interviews and evaluations
- Documenting client services in management systems
- Performing outreach for client appointments
Qualifications:
- 2 years of related work experience
- Master's Degree
- One of the following NYS licensures: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and/or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Mental and Behavioral Health experience
- Computer savvy (Able to type 40 wpm)
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational abilities
- Detail-oriented
Desired Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience working with the Substance Abuse and/or IDD population
- Proficiency in proprietary EMRs, like Seams and FecapCares
