A reputable organization in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Client Care Coordinator to join their team at a renowned family shelter. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing top-tier case management services to families in need.
About the Opportunity:
- On-site
- Shift: Full-time
- Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 9am-5pm - One late night of 1pm to 9pm (You choose which day), and the rest of the days are 9am to 5pm.
- Hours: 35 hours/week
- Setting: Family Shelter
Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 50 families
- Completing biopsychosocial evaluations within 30 days of client entry
- Conducting weekly individual sessions with clients
- Leading "Ready Set Goal" group sessions for young parents
- Creating safety plans for domestic violence situations
Qualifications:
- Master's in Social Work
- LMSW within one year of hire
- Ability to complete pre-employment clearances
- TB test, First Aid/CPR, and overdose prevention certifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
Desired Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in social work
- Biopsychosocial assessment experience
- Proficiency in Spanish
