A New Jersey-based healthcare organization is seeking a licensed Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their growing team in Union County. In this role, the Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will provide inpatient psychiatric care for patients aged 6–17 years.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment for children and adolescents in an inpatient unit
- Manage an average patient census of 25–30, including: daily notes for acute beds
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including residents, nursing staff, and social workers
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
- Ensure continuity of care and adherence to clinical protocols
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey
- Board Eligible in General Psychiatry
- Demonstrated experience in Inpatient Psychiatric Care for Pediatric populations
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
