A healthcare organization in the Capital Region is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Vent Unit in Albany, NY.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7am to 3pm
- Setting: Vent Unit
Responsibilities:
- Organizing and assisting with doctor rounds
- Completing incident reports
- Attending meetings in the absence of the unit manager
- Assisting with resident admissions and transfers
- Providing assessments and coordinating lab work
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in an Outpatient and/or Skilled Nursing role/setting
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- CPR certification
- Experience in NICU, PICU, or Critical Care
- Ability to handle pediatric and adolescents
- Experience with trachs, tube feeds, and MR/DD
- Strong assessment skills
Desired Skills:
- 1+ year related experience in an Acute or Long-term Care
- Previous experience as a Charge Nurse
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
