A nonprofit services organization in New York City is actively seeking a new Bilingual Case Manager to join their growing team at one of their new locations opening in Queens. In this role, the Case Manager will be responsible for providing trauma-informed case management services to families with children experiencing housing instability.

 About the Opportunity:
  • Start Date:  ASAP
  • Schedule:  Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 9am to 5pm
  • Setting:  Transitional Housing
  • Patient Population: Homeless families
  Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intakes, assessments, and individualized service planning
  • Provide crisis intervention, advocacy, and supportive counseling
  • Develop housing, vocational, and educational plans with families
  • Coordinate internal and external services and resources
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation
  • Participate in supervision, meetings, and trainings
  • Perform other duties, as needed
  Qualifications:
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
  • Bilingual in relevant Asian languages/dialects (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Bengali, etc.)
  • Experience in Homeless Services, Supportive Housing, or related settings
  • Knowledge of Trauma-informed, Client-centered, and Culturally-responsive practices
  • Solid assessment and documentation skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and/or a related field
