A leading global enterprise technology company is seeking a CAD Operator – Security Systems Design to support the development of physical security system drawings and technical documentation. This role involves producing accurate design deliverables for various security systems while partnering closely with engineering and project teams.
***This is a Remote opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work either EST or CST hours.***

Responsibilities:
- Developing, modifying, and maintaining CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Revit for security system designs
- Producing detailed layouts for CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems
- Interpreting design specifications and sketches to create accurate technical drawings
- Coordinating with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and completeness
- Maintaining drawing standards and documentation
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of proven experience as a CAD Operator in Security Systems or Low-Voltage Design
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of Revit
- Experience in designing physical security systems including CCTV, access control
- Strong understanding of drafting standards
- Attention to detail and accuracy,
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with BIM workflows
- Familiarity with industry standards such as NFPA or NEC
- Knowledge of Project Coordination tools
