A financial services company in Virginia is seeking a new, motivated Business Unit Financial Analyst to join their team in Vienna.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Setting: Hybrid (2 days per week now, moving to 3 days in April)
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, analyzing, and monitoring operating and capital budgets
- Evaluating requisitions and documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Processing and tracking financial transactions within Oracle ERP
- Conducting variance analysis and presenting insights
- Maintaining thorough process documentation and audit-ready notes
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or related fields
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong expertise in GAAP and General Ledger
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, formulas, and dataset manipulation
- ERP system experience
- Critical thinking in budget and transaction reviews
Desired Skills:
- 5+ years of professional Accounting experience
- Knowledge of General Ledger structure and Journal Entries
- Experience with Oracle ERP Procurement module
- Proficiency with Apptio or similar tools
