A financial services organization is seeking a Business Support Specialist in San Diego, California. This role supports business operations through research, analysis, issue resolution, and process improvement in a collaborative, on-site environment.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze, research, and resolve problems, discrepancies, and system-related issues
- Review business systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements
- Identify errors, omissions, and root causes, and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct internal audits and support process improvement initiatives
- Provide data analysis, project support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams on system and process enhancements
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of relevant work experience
- Associate's Degree
- Advanced knowledge of Business Systems and Operational processes
- Experience conducting audits, resolving discrepancies, and applying findings to requests for information
- Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and function effectively in a team environment
- Ability to navigate multiple screens and PC applications while adapting to new technologies
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
- Power BI experience
- SharePoint experience
- Knowledge of financial products, services, and programs
