A banking services company in New Jersey is looking to add a new IT Business Analyst to join their team in Jersey City, supporting business and technical requirements and processes.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 2 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
- Gathering and documenting business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops
- Analyzing current business processes and identifying areas for improvement or automation
- Translating business needs into functional specifications for development teams
- Supporting testing, training, and deployment of new systems or enhancements
- Facilitating communication between business users and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, and Process Mapping
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong knowledge of Software Development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Visio, JIRA, or Tableau
- Solid problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis
- Master’s Degree
- Business Analyst certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA)
- Experience with Stakeholder Management tools
