A leading provider of autism services in San Jose, California, is seeking an Autism Spectrum Disorder Program Coordinator (BCBA) to join their team. This role involves supporting interdisciplinary teams and families, working with individuals with challenging behaviors.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Onsite and field-based
- Shift: Monday – Friday
- Schedule: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (flexible based on client needs)
- Hours: Full-time
- Setting: Client visits within a 30-mile radius, office-based work
Responsibilities:
The Autism Spectrum Disorder Program Coordinator (BCBA) will be responsible for:
- Providing support and consultation to interdisciplinary teams
- Participating in quality improvement activities
- Engaging in resource development related to ASD services
- Analyzing trend data and preparing reports
- Ensuring culturally and age-appropriate ASD activities
Qualifications:
- BCBA certification
- Master's degree in education, psychology, or social work preferred
- Two years of experience in developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders
- Ability to prepare reports and presentations clearly
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Capacity to meet demanding deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Planning and time management skills
- Familiarity with ASD community programs
Desired Skills:
- Two years of BCBA experience
- Master's degree preferred
- BCBA certification
- Experience with ASD interventions
