A healthcare network in New York is seeking a new Behavioral Intervention Specialist to join their team in the Hudson Valley, providing support in group homes across multiple locations. The position requires travel between sites and involves fieldwork.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 11am to 7pm
- Setting: Group Homes
Responsibilities:
- Conducting functional behavioral assessments
- Developing and monitoring behavior support plans
- Providing staff training
- Presenting plans to the Human Rights Committee
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong assessment and data analysis skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Flexibility to travel between locations
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology or related field
- Board Eligible Board Certified (BCBA) certification
- Experience with Behavioral Assessments
