A New York City-based healthcare organization is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team at one of their facilities in Brooklyn as their new Associate Director of Nursing (ADON), focusing on Labor & Delivery within an acute care setting.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:30am to 4pm
- Setting: Acute Care
Responsibilities:
- Assuming 24-hour nursing responsibility
- Interpreting organizational goals to the staff
- Overseeing daily operations of the Nursing Department
- Ensuring adequate staffing coverage
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience (5 years in a leadership role)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Active NYS Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- Leadership experience in Behavioral Health
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Advanced certifications in Nursing
