A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team at one of their facilities in Manhattan as their new Associate Director of Nursing (ADON), focusing on General Peds, PICU, and NICU within an acute care setting.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:30am to 4pm
- Setting: Acute Care
Responsibilities:
- Assuming 24-hour nursing responsibilities for all elements of patient care and staffing
- Interpreting organizational goals to staff and ensuring successful implementation
- Overseeing daily operations of the Nursing Department
- Ensuring adequate staffing coverage for assigned units
- Conducting risk assessments to reduce adverse events
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience (5 years in a leadership role)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Active NYS Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- Leadership experience in Inpatient pediatrics
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
