A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team at one of their facilities in Brooklyn as their new Associate Director of Nursing (ADON), focusing on Behavioral Health within an acute care setting.
About the Opportunity:- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7:30am to 4pm
- Setting: Acute Care
- Assuming 24-hour nursing responsibility
- Interpreting organizational goals to the staff
- Overseeing daily operations of the Nursing Department
- Ensuring adequate staffing coverage
- Maintaining a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
- Performing other duties, as needed
- 7 years of experience (5 years in a leadership role)
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Active NYS Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- Leadership experience in Behavioral Health
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Advanced certifications in Nursing
- Proficiency in Budget Management
