A health services organization in New York City is actively seeking an experienced professional to join their staff in Queens as their new Assistant Team Leader / Mental Health Clinician. In this role, the Assistant Team Leader / Mental Health Clinician (MSW) will be responsible for combining administrative duties with direct clinical care, focusing on clients with serious mental illness & substance use disorders.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm (two 15-minute breaks & one 30-minute break)
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days of fieldwork; 1 to 2 days Remote)
Responsibilities:
- Providing individual and group therapy addressing mental health challenges
- Collaborating with the Team Leader to oversee daily operations
- Coordinating comprehensive assessments and developing treatment plans
- Delivering immediate support to clients in crisis
- Conducting quality assurance activities
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Behavioral Health
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
- Strong knowledge of Therapeutic modalities
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Advocacy and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience in an ACT and/or Mobile Crisis setting
- Solid understanding of EMR systems
