A nonprofit services organization in New York City is actively seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as an Assistant Program Director to provide part-time support for individuals experiencing homelessness and mental illness.

About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Part-time
- Schedule: 2 days a week
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: In-person, primarily in Brooklyn
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing notes and service plans for accuracy and compliance
- Conducting staff and community meetings
- Completing resident assessments, including harm reduction and functional assessments
- Providing direct supervision and support to program staff
- Ensuring agency standards for consumer service plans
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field
- Experience with Homelessness and Mental Illness populations
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office)
- Professional demeanor and manner
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong organizational skills
Desired Skills:
- Master’s Degree
- Professional license (LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with Behavior Tech Training
- Experience working with diverse populations
