A New York City healthcare network is actively seeking a new Appointment Scheduler to join their team in Brooklyn and assist with scheduling and customer service in a call center environment.

About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 35 hours per week (1 hour unpaid lunch)
- Setting: Call Center
Responsibilities:
- Performing scheduling using various systems
- Handling registration functions and verifying insurance
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Maintaining accuracy in scheduling and insurance verification
- Coordinating with physician offices for authorizations
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a Healthcare setting
- High School Diploma / GED
- Computer-savvy and solid Data Entry skills
- Solid problem-solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual (English and Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, and Spanish)
- Knowledge of Medical terminology
