A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Agile Coach to join their growing team in the McLean, Virginia area.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach, lead, and mentor cross-functional business groups on Agile values, Scrum, and SAFe practices
  • Identify and develop Agile champions/evangelists to support organizational maturity
  • Ensure Agile project metrics are tracked and monitored; identify performance risks and improvement areas
  • Deliver structured and ad-hoc Agile training (Scrum, Product Ownership, Program Management)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training and coaching needs
  • Oversee coaching and planning activities across multiple Agile teams and large-scale programs
  • Provide mentorship on Lean Agile, Agile, and SAFe principles
  • Develop communication artifacts related to Agile practices, progress, and plans
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and impediment resolution discussions
  • Apply scaling frameworks and Agile techniques to solve complex business challenges
  • Provide strategic thought leadership on accelerating delivery and improving team effectiveness
  • Foster collaboration and communication between teams and leadership
  • Integrate risk management and control practices into Agile lifecycles
  • Build and maintain relationships with business leaders, teams, and stakeholders
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve Agile tools and best practices
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience coaching teams in Agile environments (Scrum / SAFe / Lean Agile)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, DevOps, etc.)
  • Proven success coaching teams through Agile adoption and transformation
  • Experience supporting Agile transformation at scale within large enterprises
  • Experience with multiple Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, SAFe, etc.)
  • Experience coaching individuals and teams; influencing behavioral and cultural change
  • Experience using JIRA or Microsoft Azure Boards
  • Experience coaching teams on scaled Agile principles
  • Experience working with senior executives and influencing Agile adoption decisions
  • Experience leading Agile workshops, training sessions, and planning events
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in a related technical field
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification
