A recognized health services network is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team on a Per Diem basis. In this role, the Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) will be responsible for conducting one-time disability exams for Veterans in office settings in centrally located areas.
***Multiple County Needs within Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, Minnesota and Virginia***
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Per diem, as needed
- Hours: 0.5 to 2.0 days per week
- Setting: Office-based
Responsibilities:
- Conducting one-time disability exams for Veterans
- Ensuring exams are completed with accuracy
- Complete necessary documentation
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- National certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC)
- Experience in a Clinical setting
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Additional certifications in related fields
- Experience in Disability Exams
