A health services network in New Jersey is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing OB/GYN Department, focusing on serving in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, GYN Surgery, and the OB/GYN Emergency Department on a travel, fixed contract basis.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: 12-hour or 24-hour shifts
- Schedule: Flexible
- Hours: 24/7 coverage from Monday to Monday
Responsibilities:
- Labor & Delivery management
- Postpartum patient care
- First assist in GYN surgical procedures
- OB/GYN Emergency Department consults
- Collaboration with attending physicians and care teams
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- NJS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- First Assist certification for APNs
- Experience with patient management in OB/GYN
- Skills in GYN surgical assistance
- Knowledge of EMR systems
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative teamwork abilities
- Problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of OB/GYN experience
- Advanced Clinical Degree
- Certifications in relevant OB/GYN procedures
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
